Perform extensive patient evaluations, request diagnostic tests, and develop unique care strategies Recognize and treat acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently, as credentialing allows Guide patients and their families through prevention, health maintenance, and disease management Prescribe necessary medications and therapies aligned with your authorization Engage in patient follow-ups and chronic illness management Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care Maintain meticulous and precise records using electronic medical systems Your Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) required Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program Essential Credentials
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Alabama National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or similar Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or compliance within 90 days) Attributes for Success
