About
Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care to residents under the direction of nursing and medical staff. Answer call lights or intercom system to determine residents' needs. Bathe, dress, and undress residents. Serve, collect and store meals or food trays, prepare light meals and snacks and feed residents requiring help. Provide transfer assistance including stand by, one person assist, use of mechanical devices to assist residents with transfer/repositioning. Transport residents, using wheelchair, mechanical devices or stand by assist residents to walk. Drape residents for examination and treatment. Turn and reposition bedfast residents to prevent bedsores. Change bed linens, clean and stock supplies. Direct visitors, and answer telephone. Medication Administration in Assisted Living. Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, and food and fluid intake as directed. Incontinence care, preventative skin care, catheter care and toileting assistance. Maintain all required documentation in accordance with regulations and established clinical best practices.
Qualifications Position requirements:
Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers. Pass criminal background check Demonstrated critical thinking, decision making, teamwork, and self-leadership skills, Ability to stand/walk/balance for up to the entire shift. Ability to carry/push/pull/lift/move objects or residents up to 50 lbs. for up to the entire shift. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. with an assistive device for up to one-third of the shift.
Pay Range The estimated starting pay range for this role is $21 - $24.25 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS's typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon many factors including each individual employee's qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change. Benefits Full-time benefits-eligible employment begins at a minimum of 30 hours per week:
