About
Supervise pharmacy technicians in preparing pre-dispensed methadone and take-home bottles. Conduct monthly inventory reconciliation and maintain accurate records of daily transactions between pharmacy and nursing departments. Report irreconcilable events and discrepancies according to company policy and DEA regulations. Participate in professional development activities and required training by federal, state, local, and accrediting agencies.
Qualifications:
Effective communication skills for phone and in-person interactions. Adequate vision to read correspondence and computer screens. Ability to stand for prolonged periods, bend, stoop, and stretch. Comfortable with variable workload and periodic high stress. Familiarity with standard medical office conditions and interactions with diverse patient populations. May require the use of protective equipment.
