Title: Road Freight Forwarder Location: Dublin North Package: €32-38,000 + Healthcare, Pension & Bonus Type: Full-time | Permanent | Office Based Target Applicant: Min 1 year of recent Road freight forwarding A leading international logistics company now seek an experienced Freight Agent who will focus on the coordination and management of domestic and transcontinental freight. The Freight Agent will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of goods within a country or across continents, making sure that everything arrives on time and in good condition. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure smooth and timely road freight process flow Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the operational system Track and Trace files and reporting Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standards Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers Meet compliance at all times Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy Understand customers procedures and maintain updated internal SOPs Minimum Requirements: Min 1 year related roadfreight experience Understanding of ocean documentation process a plus Effective interpersonal skills Pro-active, strong organizational skills Good computer skills (Excel, Word) Hazardous Materials certification (preferred) Fluent in English IAC-Jun26 Skills: Road Freight Forwarding Customer Service Operational Planning Benefits: Healthcare Pension & Bonus
