Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or higher education One year clinical experience Patient restraint skills including, but not limited to: behavioral assessment, safe handling of fractious patients Able to maintain focus and work in a fast-paced work environment Adept at problem solving Basic computer skills Effective communication and organizational skills A team player with initiative and a can-do attitude Calm under pressure and adaptable in challenging situations Passionate about animal care and committed to professional growth Skilled in communication and eager to contribute to a supportive team culture Must be able to lift forty (40) pounds unassisted Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams, procedures, and treatments Provide pet owners with clear home-care instructions and updates on hospitalized pets Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless care Ensure clean, safe, and efficient hospital operations Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments
