Position Type: Student Support Services/Speech and Language Pathologist Date Posted: 6/2/2026 Location: District Wide Closing Date: 06/15/2026 Speech & Language Pathologist Position Description This Speech & Language Pathologist position will be available August 25, 2026. The salary and benefits are in accordance with the current Professional Associate Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement. We offer a competitive salary which will consider experience, education and certification. Candidates must possess a valid Pennsylvania Speech and Language Pathologist Instructional I or II Certificate. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or equivalent educational requirements and work experience necessary for CCC (preferred but not necessary). Will consider individuals with PA Speech Licensure or out-of-state Speech certifications and willing to obtain PA certification. We are seeking candidates with outstanding credentials with experience and empathy for special needs students.
Further Qualifications Include:
Strong academic background, deep knowledge of the PA Academic Standards and District curriculum, and skill in data analysis of student performance information, Highly developed classroom management and problem solving skills, Strong technology background, with the emphasis on student learning/professional growth Experience/orientation for Special Education/IEP process, requirements, and other federal/state mandates, Ability to creatively prepare/communicate/present effective instructional strategies, Possess knowledge in all areas of speech and language necessary to evaluate, instruct and monitor student learning and progress in the areas of speech and language.
