Focused on high-throughput platform development, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will design, build, and operate foundational platforms and shared services in a remote environment, ensuring high performance and reliability for engineering teams. Key Responsibilities
Design and implement internal platform services and infrastructure with a focus on developer experience and operational efficiency Architect high-throughput backend platforms that manage substantial request volumes while maintaining low latency Develop durable event-processing pipelines and asynchronous job execution systems to enhance feature delivery speed for product teams
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline Six or more years of professional backend or platform engineering experience Proven experience in building and operating internal platforms consumed by multiple engineering teams Strong expertise in designing distributed systems with a focus on consistency, availability, and latency Advanced proficiency in at least one major backend programming language such as Java, Go, Scala, Rust, or modern C++
