Nurse Practitioner Job Title: Advanced Practice Nurse Location: Barnabas Health Medical Group Department Name: Trinitas Behavioral Status: Salaried Shift: Day Pay Range: $120,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: The APN will be working in the Child/Adolescent Psychiatric Inpatient Unit. The APN will provide psychiatric evaluations and medication follow-up to children hospitalized on the inpatient units. Regular collaboration with family members and guardians. Shift/Schedule:
8a-4p M-F
Qualifications:
2-3 years of APN experience RN License APN License PMHNP Certification CDS and DEA BLS
Essential Functions:
Provision of psychiatric treatment in all appropriate modalities as indicated and needed Participation, as a core member, in the multidisciplinary treatment team meetings related to the Program and the cases Provider will support the Psychiatric Residency Program Ensure that all Medical Center personnel policies and procedures are followed Providing timely comprehensive patient evaluation; timely completion of treatment planning (according to medical record/hospital and regulatory standards) and implementation within an integrated theoretical framework; Participation in the educational programs of the department as required Assist and support the program's Nurse Manager in the achievement of Department and Medical Center operational and clinical objectives, including length of stay and other quality measures Identification of issues and formulation of recommendations concerning the improvement of the quality of care rendered to patients Provide input concerning the performance and evaluation of the Program's staff Timely completion of Medical Center documentation requirements for all patients Be available in a timely manner, at conferences and/or via telephone, to discuss information pertinent to patients Participate in the credentialing process when requested Carry out such additional duties as may be assigned by the Chairman of the Department of Behavioral Health and Psychiatry, the Vice President of Behavioral Health and Psychiatry and/or the Chief Medical Officer
