About
Demonstrated interest in meeting patient needs and assuring patient satisfaction. Operating knowledge of mammographic equipment. Performs all screening mammograms within assigned area. Reviews all necessary documentation to perform procedures. Performs preventative visual and manual inspections for each equipment assigned ensuring appropriate maintenance and cleanliness. Performs QC as required by the MQSA. Performs related clinical and clerical duties associated with the patient procedure. Assures that the procedures performed are in accordance with policies and procedures. Performs warm up calibration procedures necessary to ready the equipment for patient imaging. Contributes to a positive climate and open communication for a team approach.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, communication and team work skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in fast paced, customer oriented highly professional environment. Ability to establish and maintain mutually supportive, productive working relationships with colleagues, staff, and physicians. Proven record of taking direction professionally from other medical personnel. Demonstrated ability to learn on the job.
Educational Requirements:
College degree preferred ASRT (RT)(R)(M) and CT State License required
