Responsibilities Responsible for the evaluation, treatment planning and implementation of treatment for patients demonstrating disorders of speech, language, cognition, swallowing and other services prescribed by a physician. Assists in developing and implementing new and ongoing programs beneficial for the enhancement of the department. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Graduate of an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in speech-language pathology required.
Active license to practice speech language pathology in the state of anticipated employment, free of disciplinary action required.
Active Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), free of disciplinary action – OR - Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFs) to be considered on a case-by-case basis (provided proper supervision can be afforded to the CF) required.
At least one year of experience in a hospital setting.
Current BLS for healthcare provider’s certification upon hire and maintain current.
Pay Transparency Resurrection Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is a flat rate of $46.16/hr. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
