About
Conduct evaluations for a diverse range of patients, from pediatric to geriatric populations, utilizing both standardized assessments and observational analyses. Create tailored treatment plans that focus on immediate goals as well as long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Provide individualized speech therapy, targeting communication, language development, fluency, and swallowing challenges. Collaborate effectively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to implement holistic care strategies. Educate patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond clinical sessions. Attend to occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring that care remains consistent throughout the entire process. Maintain precise and prompt documentation that aligns with state and federal regulations as well as organizational standards. Commit to ongoing professional growth by staying updated with the latest advancements through continuous education and collaboration with peers. Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications Required
Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of starting employment. Essential Skills
