Shift: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Rightsourcing Program - IHC Health Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Rightsourcing Program - IHC Health Services.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Two (2) years of Cardiology/Cath Lab experience preferred.

Required Credentials: - Registered ARRT required, or Registered Respiratory Therapist with CV-specific certification, or RCES; RCIS may be obtained within 18 months of hire. - Fluoroscopy certification required. - High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Credentials: - Associate’s degree preferred.

Unit Details: - Technical support in the cardiac catheterization lab during invasive cardiovascular procedures, with patient care under RN supervision. - Assists with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures, scrub assistance, and sterile field maintenance. - Operates imaging equipment and works in the control room monitoring and documenting procedure images and events. - Educates patients and families on procedure expectations and pre- and post-procedure physical conditions.

Shift & Scheduling: - Call 1 night a week and 1 weekend a month. More call may be required.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certifications RCES, (R)
