Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups, utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methods. Craft individualized treatment plans targeted at both immediate and sustained communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions emphasizing communication, language, fluency, vocalization, and swallowing concerns. Cooperate with colleagues in physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, and other medical specialties to develop comprehensive care strategies. Provide valuable education to patients and their families to enhance progress beyond clinical settings. Engage in sporadic inpatient speech therapy evaluations and treatments, guaranteeing a seamless care transition. Maintain timely, precise documentation in accordance with all applicable guidelines. Commit to professional growth by keeping abreast of the latest developments through ongoing education and collaborative opportunities. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment. Skills
