Requirements:
2+ years of experience required Current Occupational Therapist License Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Roles & Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat patients in alignment with licensure standards and physician orders. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop patient goals and plans for care. Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, assistive devices, and home programs. Monitor and document program effectiveness and patient outcomes. Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA) in compliance with care delivery standards. Participate in the development and documentation of discharge plans.
Compliance / Notes: Occupational therapist must provide appropriate documentation and ensure they follow state licensure requirements and organizational standards.
