Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. CCC-SLP license required by the State of Alaska. Basic Life Support certification required. Experience with pediatrics and outpatient services required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, evaluation, and treatment planning for patients requiring Speech-Language Pathology services. Implement and modify therapy plans based on patient response to optimize outcomes. Document patient encounters, including diagnoses, treatment plans, and recommendations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and self-care strategies. Assist in program development and quality improvement initiatives.
Compliance / Notes:
Flu vaccine required. Background checks and drug screens may be required. Position is a covered job in accordance with the Indian Child Protection Act.
