About
Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery. Monitor patient vital signs and level of consciousness post-surgery. Administer medications and perform nursing interventions as needed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Complete all necessary documentation and participate in patient education. Participate in weekend and holiday call rotations as required.
Schedule The shifts vary, predominantly working 12-hour days, with additional shifts possibly including 8-, 9-, or 11-hour workdays. Flexibility is a must as staff are expected to stay until all patient cases are completed for the day. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current RN license. Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC. Experience in post-anesthesia care preferred. Must be able to read and interpret cardiac rhythms.
