Job Description:
Responsible for administering, maintaining, securing, and validating test environments and test equipment systems supporting production and development activities.
Focus is on ensuring Windows and Linux environments remain operational, compliant, connected, and secure while supporting engineering and hardware test operations.
Core Responsibilities
Administer Windows and Linux servers Support cybersecurity-compliant test environments Install software packages, patches, and updates Troubleshoot production and development test equipment environments Ensure connectivity, functionality, and test integrity Support NIST compliance requirements Collaborate with Cybersecurity, IT, and Engineering teams Support integration of test equipment into enterprise and controlled networks
Required Qualifications
Windows Server Administration Linux Administration Networking fundamentals NIST 800-171 experience Active Directory experience Splunk experience System administration experience Experience troubleshooting complex test or engineering environments
Technical Skills / Environment
Windows Server Linux Active Directory Splunk Network troubleshooting Cybersecurity compliance Test equipment environments Production test environments Enterprise integration
Preferred Qualifications
Security+ (or equivalent IAT Level II certification) CISM STIG implementation experience RMF exposure Cybersecurity compliance support Engineering lab or test equipment experience

Has administered Windows and Linux systems in secure environments Understands NIST compliance requirements Has supported engineering labs, test systems, or production environments Comfortable troubleshooting connectivity and system issues Can work with both engineers and cybersecurity teams Understands how test environments interact with enterprise networks
