Temporary Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Location: Hershey, PA

Schedule: Flexibility to pick up shifts that work with you - hours may vary from 4-12 hours shifts Monday-Saturday.

Job Responsibilities May Include:

• Preparing patients for dental work.
• Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
• Assisting dental hygienists with procedures and other tasks when necessary.
• Exposing dental x-rays from dental diagnostics and caring for dental x-ray equipment.
• Creating dental impressions using impression materials to fabricate orthodontic appliances.
• Assisting the orthodontist with placing and adjusting braces, wires, and other orthodontic appliances

Requirements:

• Must have Orthodontic experience
• At least one (1) year of experience as a Dental Assistant OR completion of a Dental Assisting program.
• Training and/or education as a Dental Assistant.
• Must maintain Dental Assisting License in good standing and complete the CE Credits required by state.
• Radiology Certification.
