MRI Runner – Olympia Orthopaedic Associates Location: Olympia, WA Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.13 - $23.59 per hour (Pay is determined based on years of experience) Summary of benefits: OOA covers part or all of the cost for Health, Dental, Vision, and Long-term Disability Insurance. Employees are eligible to participate in a 401k plan with company matching. Flex spending plans, uniform allowances, and an Employee Assistance Program available as well. PTO is accrued depending on position, FTE status, and tenure. Olympia Orthopaedics is a drug-free, alcohol-free, and smoke-free workplace. If offered employment, passage of background screen and pre-employment drug screen is required. Please note nicotine levels are included in testing. MRI Runner Job Duties:
Directs patients to and from the patient seating area. Walks the patients from MRI scan suites to their dressing room. Prepares patients for their MRI by instructing them how to properly change and remove all metal objects from their body. Assists patients if needed. Relays patient paperwork from the patient to the MRI Technologist completing the scans. Maintains dressing room cleanliness and stocks necessary supplies as needed in the rooms (i.e. shorts, gowns). Tracks inventory items and reports to MRI Lead when supplies need to be ordered. Keeps scan rooms on time by ensuring patients are ready in a timely manner. Completes impedance checks for patients who have implants, prior to scanning. Provides lunch coverage for receptionist through a reduced check-in process.
MRI Runner Job Requirements:
One year of experience in a medical office setting, preferred. High school diploma or GED.
