About
Conduct thorough evaluations for a diverse patient demographic including pediatrics, adults, and seniors through standardized assessments and observation. Create customized treatment plans addressing both short- and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals. Implement personalized speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families to ensure comprehensive care approaches. Provide education to patients and their families to empower progress outside of the clinic. Assist in rare inpatient assessments and interventions to maintain care continuity throughout the patient's journey. Ensure accurate and timely documentation in alignment with state, federal, and organizational regulations. Engage in continued education and peer networking to remain at the forefront of best practices in the field. Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days post-employment. Skills
