This role is ideal for a customer-focused healthcare administrative professional with experience in front desk operations, patient scheduling, telephone support, and EPIC electronic medical records. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors while supporting daily practice operations in a fast-paced primary care environment. Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Patient Reception
Welcome and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner. Serve as the primary point of contact for front desk operations. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors. Telephone & Scheduling Support
Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally. Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments. Route calls and messages to appropriate clinical and administrative staff. Assist patients with appointment-related questions and requests. Administrative Support
Maintain accurate patient records and demographic information. Support daily office workflow and administrative operations. Ensure patient information is entered and updated accurately within the electronic medical record system. Assist with general clerical and administrative duties as assigned. Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system for scheduling, registration, and patient information management. Maintain data accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with healthcare policies and procedures. Required Qualifications
Prior front desk or receptionist experience. Experience answering high-volume telephone calls. Appointment scheduling experience. EPIC experience is required. Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work effectively in a busy healthcare environment. Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a healthcare, medical office, physician practice, clinic, or hospital setting. Experience supporting primary care or ambulatory care practices. Familiarity with patient registration and medical office workflows.
