About
Assess patients from pediatric to geriatric demographics using a mixture of standardized assessments and observational methods. Craft individualized treatment plans that are geared toward meeting both short-term goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver specialized one-on-one speech therapy focusing on facets such as communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians, to develop unified care strategies. Provide educational resources to patients and families to assist with their progress during and beyond clinical sessions. Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and therapies, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the recovery process. Maintain precise and timely documentation that complies with all state, federal, and organizational requirements. Engage in ongoing professional development by interacting with peers and keeping abreast of the latest advancements in the field. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you have yet to attain ASHA certification. Certifications
Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) issued by ASHA. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hiring. Skills
