Job Description Job Summary: Perform specialized mammography procedures to produce high-quality breast images for diagnostic and treatment purposes. Operate independently, applying clinical expertise and sound judgment to ensure patient safety and accurate results. Responsibilities:
Execute routine and specialized breast imaging procedures in accordance with industry standards and protocols. Assess patient readiness, explain procedures, and obtain cooperation to facilitate efficient imaging. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, ensuring compliance with all privacy and safety regulations. Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver optimal patient care and ensure clear communication. Adhere to all local, state, and federal guidelines, including certification and licensing requirements. May train or orient new staff members on departmental procedures and protocols. Qualifications:
ARRT, MARRT, or RBLS certification required in mammography. Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience in a clinical setting. Valid state license and current certifications, including AHA or Red Cross CPR. Proficiency in Epic or similar charting systems preferred. Strong patient communication skills and ability to work independently. Ability to complete required modules during orientation within designated timeframes. Benefits & Growth:
