Position Title: X-Ray Technologist Location: Katy, TX Contract Duration: 3 Months Pay Rate: $36.50/hour Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to join our team in Katy, TX. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a clinical environment. Key Responsibilities
Educate patients on imaging procedures in a calm, professional, and courteous manner Prepare imaging equipment and patient exam rooms for procedures Position and monitor patients during diagnostic imaging exams Capture and submit imaging views for provider review Maintain patient and equipment safety at all times Administer appropriate radiation doses in accordance with established protocols Troubleshoot and address equipment issues as needed Ensure compliance with clinical, safety, and regulatory standards Required QualificationsEducation:
High School Diploma or GED required Associate degree or technical degree from an accredited college required Certifications/Licensure:
Current MRT License required ARRT Certification required Skills & Experience:
Experience with Epic EMR preferred Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
