On board: On successfully completing the above steps, the candidates are welcomed on board and assisted to ensure a smooth integration at the client's location.
Job Description Role responsibilities:
Fully understands, exhibits and maintains a high level of technical skill or knowledge in the area of application analysis, application design and system integration. Highly skilled in enterprise systems and very familiar with best business practices related to systems. Knowledgeable of security protocols for systems utilized Knowledgeable of the current architecture of systems and information to troubleshoot problems. Understands the business functions and system needs of assigned areas to develop working specifications for software application solutions. Able to manage timelines, financial resources, and the activities of self and others to achieve success and to monitor project progress and provide updates to managers. Possesses substantial, proven experience in the entire systems development life cycle processes including workflow analysis, workflow diagrams, requirements solicitation, documentation, and quality assurance. Able to plan and lead joint review and design sessions. Able to assess complex user needs through discussion with customer, conveying technical information to client and promoting an understanding of relevant issues. Possesses strong communication skills, both oral and written, to interact with other areas within NCDOT. Able to understand complex business functions and system needs, and develop requirements documents, use cases, and other documentation to support development or modification of complex software application solutions. Possesses extensive knowledge to serve as a technical resource in solving problems of high complexity. Ability to plan and manage the integration and implementation of new technology, solving highly technical and complex problems while guiding and providing the direction for projects through completion.
Qualifications Experience in application analysis, application design and system integration. Able to develop system specifications. Working knowledge of application development life cycle Strong analytical and conceptual skills Able to plan and lead joint review and design sessions. Experience with MS Office Suite Experience in developing and documenting use cases, and other documentation to support development Working knowledge of mainframe environment Understanding of data modeling and ERD SQL Experience Microsoft SharePoint Experience Project Tracking Experience - Bugzilla
