About
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States. Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and medical terminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Advanced certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify health status and care needs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor patient progress and document changes in condition accurately and timely. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and recovery. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and infection control standards. Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment to promote patient well-being.
Skills: The Nurse Staff utilizes clinical skills daily to assess patient conditions, administer treatments, and monitor progress, ensuring that care is both safe and effective. Strong communication skills are essential for educating patients and collaborating with healthcare teams to coordinate care plans. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities enable the nurse to respond swiftly to emergencies and adapt care strategies as patient needs evolve. Proficiency with electronic health records supports accurate documentation and information sharing across multidisciplinary teams. Additionally, empathy and emotional resilience are vital for providing compassionate care and supporting patients and families through challenging health situations.
