About
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Rhode Island. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing degree. At least one year of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in multiple nursing specialties, such as critical care, pediatrics, or emergency nursing. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Previous experience in a float pool or similar role.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in various departments, including but not limited to medical-surgical, pediatrics, and emergency care. Assess patient conditions, document findings, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while monitoring patients for any adverse reactions or changes in condition. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans based on patient assessments and needs. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and departmental protocols.
