POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Domaine Borromée is pleased to welcome over 230 residents who are independent, semi-independent, or experiencing a loss of autonomy. A warm, welcoming, and very appreciative clientele! A close-knit team and a people-centered management style! We are currently seeking an empathetic and caring Resident Care Attendant for a permanent part-time position, 24 hours per week (with the possibility of 32 hours depending on needs), working evenings from 3 pm to 11 pm, as well as weekends.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
• Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
• Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
• In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
• Proactively assist and support the residents
• Respond to all emergency situations
• While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hold a PAB diploma recognized by the ministry
• Good team player
• Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years experience
• Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
• PDSB training
• Holding Law 90 or Competency 6
