Job Description:

  • Verifies customer transactions and corrects any issues that arise.
  • Ensures accurate and timely acceptance of transfers.
  • Verifies that products have tags, are shelved and displayed appropriately, and that the store is clean and customer-friendly.
  • Recognizes the vital role of customer service and prioritizes building customer loyalty.
  • Trains sales and volunteer team on customer service, point of sale (POS) system, trends, and product knowledge.
  • Supervises retail employees and volunteers, fostering relationships with customers, vendors, and partners.
  • Manages daily operations to ensure business growth.
  • Assists Supervisor and Manager in achieving budgetary goals and quality initiatives.
  • Keeps current on departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintains respectful relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Participates in delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, demonstrating the capacity to effectively convey and receive information in both written and oral forms.
  • Exemplary customer service skills are required, with a strong emphasis on the ability to excel in developing and maintaining customer loyalty.
  • This includes a proactive approach to anticipating and meeting the needs of customers, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Applicants should have the ability to stay abreast of the latest trends, suggesting an ongoing commitment to professional development and a willingness to adapt to new information and technologies.
  • The role demands the ability to multitask efficiently, managing multiple priorities simultaneously without compromise to quality or timelines.
  • Strong selling skills are essential, indicating the ability to understand and communicate the value of services or products effectively to customers.
  • Proficiency with point of sales (POS) systems is required, alongside accurate math skills, ensuring the ability to handle transactions and financial calculations with precision.

Education:

  • High School Grad or Equiv Required

Pay Range: $15.46 $24.73
