About
Conduct comprehensive assessments across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing established evaluation methods and observational insights. Create tailored treatment plans that target both immediate goals and enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges. Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions concentrating on areas such as communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing mechanics. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to ensure integrated care delivery. Provide education and support materials to empower patients and families in engaging with the therapeutic process outside of clinical settings. Occasionally support inpatient evaluations and interventions to maintain consistency of care throughout the recovery journey. Keep meticulous and timely documentation consistent with state, federal, and organizational regulations. Engage with continuing education and collaborative opportunities to remain at the forefront of advancements in speech-language pathology. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending. Certifications
Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of joining. Skills
