About

Speech Language Pathology Assistant Assists a credentialed Speech Therapist or Audiologist in supplementing, enhancing, and extending speech/language therapy services for pupils with speech and language disorders. Assists in providing training and use of augmentative and alternative communication devices and technology. Position previously known as Speech Language Pathology Assistant & Speech Therapy Assistant (Special Education) Required: The following must be submitted by the deadline date in order for your application to be considered for this position: *COMPLETE online application *Resume *Unofficial College Transcripts and degree *Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license Optional: Letters of Recommendation ((3 recent letters; DATED & SIGNED within the past 18 months)) Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Pathology or Communication Disorders -1 year of experience working with children -Valid license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant from the Department of Consumer Affairs Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board *One year of clinical experience is preferred* Upon hire must present: TB clearance, High School Diploma, Official Transcripts, DMV Driving Record Printout, CA Driver's License, and Proof of Auto Insurance Liability (MUST be listed as a driver).

Selection process: Applications will be reviewed for satisfaction of minimum qualifications. A maximum of eight applicants will be invited for a panel interview. All candidates will be notified via email following final selection. Important!
