$25-$34/hour, based on skills assessment and technician leveling
Overnight differential (11:00pm-7:00am): Additional $5/hour
Clear pathways for advancement and increased compensation through skill development and clinical growth
Schedule
Typically three 12-hour shifts per week
Current scheduling needs are focused on evening and overnight coverage:
4:00pm-4:00am
7:00pm-7:00am
While not every shift will be overnight, flexibility to support these hours as needed is important

Responsibilities As a Veterinary Technician in our Emergency & Critical Care department, you will:
Triage incoming emergency patients with confidence and compassion
Support pet owners during emotionally challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
Collaborate closely with veterinarians on diagnostics, treatments, and case management
Perform in-house laboratory testing and assist with advanced imaging procedures
Administer treatments and medications as directed
Monitor hospitalized patients and provide exceptional nursing care
Execute and monitor anesthetic events with precision and attention to detail
Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining accurate medical records
Qualifications
Licensed, Registered, or Certified Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT) eligible to work in New York State
New graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong foundation in inpatient nursing care, venipuncture, radiology, and laboratory procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced emergency veterinary environment
Positive attitude with a team-oriented approach to patient care
Ability to take initiative and contribute to hospital-wide success
Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
