Provides personal care of a patient, including bathing, grooming/hygiene, and toileting. Takes and records daily vital signs. Reports all vital signs that are outside the normal range. Assists patients with positioning/turning, transfers, catheter care, and range of motion exercises.
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a written home health/hospice competency test and the clinical skills testing. Certification as Home Health Aide (CHHA). State of Michigan CNA Certification Current state driver's license, proof of insurance, a reliable vehicle and be a responsible driver.
Preferred:
Six months of experience with a variety of patients.
