About
Prepare patients, equipment, and instruments for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. Assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures by operating specialized imaging and monitoring equipment. Monitor and record patient vitals and procedural data accurately and in real time. Maintain a sterile environment and ensure adherence to infection control protocols. Ensure accurate documentation and proper handling of patient data and procedural images. Perform post-procedure cleanup, equipment checks, and restocking of supplies. Support emergency response efforts including crash cart readiness and resuscitation procedures. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or related discipline. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), ARRT (CI), or similar certification required. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. At least 1–2 years of experience working in a cath lab preferred. Strong understanding of cardiovascular procedures, anatomy, and hemodynamic monitoring. Excellent organizational and communication skills with a patient-centered focus.
