Admissions Nurse Avalon Care Center at Northpointe in Spokane is seeking an Admissions Nurse to join our team! $48.00 - $54.69 /hr Sunday - Tuesday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm We are looking for individuals who embrace a reverence for life and a heart for healing. Minimum Pay - $48.00. Maximum pay- $54.69. **Placement within the wage range for this position is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.** Responsibilities Admissions Process
Complete admission assessments for incoming residents, including physical and clinical evaluations. Coordinate admissions to ensure a smooth transition into the facility. Review hospital records, physician orders, medications, and treatment plans prior to admission. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care. Ensure accurate and timely completion of admission documentation, authorizations, and medical records. Educate residents and families regarding admission procedures, care plans, and facility policies. Assess residents for appropriate level of care and identify immediate clinical or safety concerns. Coordinate room assignments, equipment, and resident care needs upon admission. Maintain compliance with state, federal, facility, and HIPAA regulations. Assist with resident transfers and discharge coordination as needed.
Qualifications
Preferably 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience with at least two years in long term care and two years of successful experience in administration, consultation or involvement in the survey process
Licenses/Certification
Must have an RN license in good standing
