Job Responsibilities
Craft Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess each patient's unique needs and create personalized therapy objectives to empower them to achieve their functional aspirations Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based interventions designed to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic patient care Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide guidance and instruction for patients and their families to ensure continued progress beyond therapy sessions Track and Document Progress: Monitor outcomes and modify treatment plans accordingly, ensuring patients remain on track toward their goals Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Ongoing professional development or post-graduation certifications encouraged and supported Certifications
Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) credential required Desired Skills
