About

To support large IT projects for electric utility clients, the full-time SQL Database Administrator will manage, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases while collaborating with project managers and clients, with the potential for remote work and occasional on-call duties. Key responsibilities
Manage, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases across various environments, including installation, configuration, and backup/recovery Provide application support for multiple utility company applications, working directly with client customers Collaborate with project teams to establish plans for database implementation and conversion, resolving complex issues as needed
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with 4+ years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Database Administrator Strong core SQL DBA skills with experience across all versions of Microsoft SQL Server Experience with database architecture, backup & recovery, and performance tuning Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform Ability to create, modify, and diagnose stored procedures
