Design individualized therapy plans that target immediate objectives while considering long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing requirements. Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions focused on various aspects of language and voice, tailored to each patient's unique needs. Engage collaboratively with a dedicated team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, caregivers, and family members to ensure a holistic approach to care. Provide education to patients and families, enhancing their ability to support recovery and progress beyond clinic hours. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, promoting continuity and depth in patient care. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is necessary if you have not yet received ASHA certification. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be achieved within the first month of employment. Skills
