About
Assess patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric age ranges utilizing both standardized assessments and observational techniques. Craft individualized treatment plans to meet immediate and extended communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver personalized speech therapy focused on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills. Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, doctors, caregivers, and families to develop cohesive treatment strategies. Educate patients and their families to foster progress outside therapy sessions. Conduct occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless continuity of care. Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards. Keep abreast of advancements in the profession through ongoing education and collaboration with colleagues. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if certification from ASHA is pending. Certifications
Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment is required. Skills
