Job Responsibilities
Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and formulate personalized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional aspirations Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to bolster patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and day-to-day activities Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care Guide Patients and Caregivers: Educate clients and their families on therapy practices to facilitate continued progress outside of the therapy environment Track and Evaluate Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and refine treatment approaches as necessary to keep each patient on their desired path Education
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications promoted and rewarded Certifications
Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) accreditation required Required Skills
