Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position, starting ASAP. Job Description The competent Registered Nurse, practicing in a similar clinical setting, demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care while providing routine and complex nursing tasks. This role requires independent practice and the ability to manage clinical contingencies effectively. ResponsibilitiesUtilize the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families. Administer medications and treatments according to protocols and monitor for side effects and effectiveness. Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureBachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred. BLS certification required. Current RN license in the state of employment or compact. Chemo certification is required.
