About
Assess patients from pediatric through to geriatric groups employing standardized measures and observational methods. Create bespoke therapy plans that cater to immediate goals as well as long-term communicative, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. Deliver dedicated speech therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, vocalization, and swallowing efficiency. Work collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and other caregivers to develop unified care approaches. Provide education to patients and families that facilitates progress beyond the clinical environment. Support occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure consistent care throughout the rehabilitation process. Ensure that documentation is precise and completed promptly, in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain awareness of the latest advancements in the field through peer activities. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are yet to obtain ASHA certification. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Skills
