Job Summary
Perform thorough patient assessments that encompass physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews Assist with the assessment and diagnosis of surgical issues by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory findings Work in tandem with surgeons to devise and implement personalized surgical treatment plans Provide intraoperative assistance, including setting up operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care that includes administering medications, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education Required Education
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Clinical rotations with a focus on surgery are highly preferred Certifications Needed
Active and unrestricted PA-C certification BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant Essential Skills
