JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for checking in patients, answering front office phone, scheduling patients, authenticating insurance, reviewing patient benefits, and maintaining accurate schedule for audiologists. Independently prepares hearing aid orders, receives hearing aid deliveries, and verifies/authenticates hearing aid orders. Routes hearing aids to audiologists with accurate documentation. Acts as a mentor to Audiology Technician I and II and assists audiologists as directed in patient preparation, discharge, and hearing aid troubleshooting.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
High school or equivalent
Minimum Work Experience
1 year CMA or audiology office
Required Licenses/Certifications
Valid Texas Driver's License required only for individuals identified as HMC Designated Drivers per policy
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Answer telephones Data input Diagnostic equipment Personal computers Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
