Position Summary:
Under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), the licensed practical nurse (LPN) provides safe, efficient patient care to assigned patients. Performs as a positive member of the healthcare team.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing/licensed practical nursing program
Minimum Experience
Hospital experience within the past 5 years preferred
Required Registration/License/Certification
Current Kansas LPN licensure Intravenous (IV) certification Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completes within the first 90 days of employment.
