Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program. Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a clinical or rehabilitation setting. Certification in CPR and First Aid.
Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities, ensuring proper technique and safety. Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist. Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment, including the upkeep of equipment and supplies. Educate patients and their families about exercises, home care, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery.
