Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, request diagnostic tests, and create tailored care plans Diagnose and treat acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses in collaboration with physicians or autonomously depending on credentialing Educate patients and families on wellness, prevention, and disease management strategies Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within your scope of practice Engage in patient follow-up and chronic disease management initiatives Work collaboratively across interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, patient-centered care Document care comprehensively and accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) Educational Background Required
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Essential Certifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in California National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Skills That Make You Stand Out
