About
Deliver physical care to patients, including bathing, changing linens, feeding, assisting with ambulation and transfers, and supporting range-of-motion exercises and positioning. Reinforce dressings as needed and adhere to infection control procedures and Standard Precautions against Bloodborne Pathogens. Perform light housekeeping duties in patient areas, including laundry, trash disposal, meal preparation, dishwashing, cleaning, disinfecting equipment, and replenishing supplies. Collaborate with other Hospice team members to educate primary caregivers and families regarding physical care, disease processes, and emotional support for patients.

What you'll need:
Experience: Six months of experience as a CNA in a hospital or long-term care skilled nursing facility preferred. A letter of recommendation from an instructor may be requested for candidates with no prior job experience. Licensure: Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License). Valid Florida State Driver's License. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Certification.
