About

Overview The Sales Manager partners with the Store Manager to drive sales performance, lead and develop the sales team, and deliver an exceptional luxury customer experience. This role is responsible for achieving sales goals, coaching team members, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring a seamless and elevated client experience.
Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Floor Management
Maintain an active, visible presence on the sales floor, supporting and guiding sales interactions.
Monitor team performances, set individual sales goals, and drive results.
Assist in closing sales and resolving client needs as necessary.
Ensure a smooth, organized, and high-performing sales environment.
Client Experience
Deliver a legendary customer experience by engaging clients and building lasting relationships.
Ensure all clients are greeted, assisted, and appreciated.
Oversee client follow-up, including thank-you outreach and review requests.
Team Development
Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance updates.
Support training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service.
Foster a positive, motivated, and team-oriented environment.
Assist with recruiting and onboarding as needed.
Operations & Inventory Control
Ensure sales transactions are accurate, complete, and properly documented.
Maintain inventory accuracy, including case counts and diamond verification.
Oversee merchandise presentation, pricing updates, and tagging accuracy.
Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and visual standards are consistently maintained.
Monitor repair quality control and completion accuracy.
Administrative & Compliance
Ensure proper use of POS systems and adherence to cash handling procedures.
Support weekly sales meetings and reporting.
Assist in minimizing inventory shrink and maintaining internal controls.
Handle customer concerns professionally and effectively.
Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to drive sales and motivate a team.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
High school diploma required.
Preferred
Experience in fine jewelry or luxury retail.
Working Conditions
Prolonged standing and active movement on the sales floor.
Occasional bending, stooping, and lifting.
