About
Job Duties:
Services, cleans and restocks supplies in restroomsGathers and empties trashCleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuumingFollows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment; mixes cleaning solutions according to specificationsStrips, seals, finishes and polishes floors as neededNotifies maintenance manager concerning the need for repairsRequisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance dutiesCleans windows, glass partitions and mirrors as neededSteam-cleans or shampoos carpets and remove stainsCleans and polishes furniture and fixturesDusts furniture, walls, machines and equipment as neededPerforms additional duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of timeRequires repetitive movement and/or bending, twistingAble to lift up to 40 lbs.Able to use hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controlsAble to communicate with Team MembersAble to work in small spaces and at higher levelsMay be exposed to chemicals in performing general dutiesRequires work indoors in environmentally controlled conditionsAbility to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred1 -2 years housekeeping experience
